In rare cases they may have chips, scratches, and other wear and tear common on used rental equipment, such as permanent markers, stickers, or other writing on them. Cosmetic and non-functional details (tips, signature badges etc) might be broken or missing. They are sold as seen in the pictures. Please go through all the pictures prior to making a purchase. We will ship the exact same boots you see on the pictures.

Specification: The Head Edge 8.5 (including the Edge+ 8.5 series) is a comfort-focused, recreational all-mountain ski boot designed specifically for beginner to intermediate skiers. Built with Head’s classic high-volume geometry, it prioritizes warmth, easy entry, and forgiveness over harsh race-level stiffness.

Overview & Key Features

• Soft-to-Medium Forgiving Flex: Rated around a soft 50–60 flex (or ~85 in later Advant Edge variations), making it very forgiving on progressive turns and easy on the shins during full days on groomed pistes.

• High-Volume Fit (104mm Last): Features a wide, accommodating 104mm last (C 2100cc), offering extra room in the forefoot and instep to prevent pressure points and restricted circulation.

• Easy Entry Shell: Utilizes a bi-injected shell construction with softer plastic over the top of the foot, making it effortless to slip on and off even in cold temperatures.

• Comfort & HeatFit Liner: Outfitted with an anatomical comfort liner (often fleece-lined or Sanitized® treated in women-specific models) designed to retain body heat and cushion the foot.

• Micro-Adjustable Buckles: Includes 4 micro-adjustable buckles and a macro ratchet upper strap to let you fine-tune tension around your calf and foot.

• SoftWalk Heel: Includes a walking-friendly heel pad design to reduce slipping and harsh impact when walking across frozen resort parking lots.
