Condition & Edge Thickness Guide

THE TRAVENTURIA FLEET STANDARD:
These skis come directly from our professional rental centers (operated up to a maximum of 100 days).

📏 TRANSPARENT RULER MEASUREMENT:
We do not use stock photos. Because edge wear varies from ski to ski, our workshop photographs the actual steel edge of THIS exact pair against a millimeter ruler (see photos #10–12). What you see in the photos is the exact edge remaining.

🤖 AUTOMATED ROBOTIC TUNING:
Before dispatch, every ski undergoes complete servicing on our automated workshop robots:
• Stone-ground base structure (ready for all snow conditions).
• Precision edge sharpening and beveling.
• Fresh machine hot wax applied.
Your skis arrive 100% Ready to Ride straight out of the box!

Ski Specifications: The Elan GSX Race (166 cm length) is a high-performance junior/tweener Giant Slalom race ski built for U16 competitors, Masters racers, and strong technical carvers. Incorporating race-room technologies developed directly for Elan's World Cup athletes, the 166 cm length offers an extended effective edge for supreme high-speed stability, powerful turn execution, and smooth acceleration through long GS turns on hardpack and injected race ice.

Paired with the Elan EL 11 system bindings (or equivalent Tyrolia-built Elan race bindings), this package provides a reliable retention range, direct boot-to-edge power transfer, and a natural flex pattern through aggressive turn arcs.

Core Technologies & Construction

Response Frame Woodcore: A specialized tip-to-tail laminated wood core that combines hardwood along the outer edges for direct power transmission with softer wood in the center for controlled flex and reduced swing weight.
Dual Ti / Titanium Laminates: Double layers of Titanal metal sandwiching the wood core deliver maximum torsional rigidity, superior chatter absorption, and unyielding edge bite on frozen race courses.
RST Sidewall Construction: Full vertical sidewalls optimize energy transfer from the boot to the edge along the entire running length of the ski, ensuring precise steering and instant engagement.
Fibreglass Reinforcement: Optimizes flex characteristics and enhances dynamic rebound out of turn exits without adding excess weight.
Traditional Full Camber Profile: 100% camber running surface ensures full edge contact for maximum stability and grip in gated GS courses.
