Ex-Rental boots, from our Rental Center. Boots are in condition as shown in the pictures (Zoom in for details). They are fully functional, but used. In rare cases they may have chips, scratches, and other wear and tear common on used rental equipment, such as permanent markers, stickers, or other writing on them. Cosmetic and non-functional details (tips, signature badges etc) might be broken or missing. They are sold as seen in the pictures. Please go through all the pictures prior to making a purchase. We will ship the exact same boots you see on the pictures.

Parallel to Salomon's men's Impact series, the Idol line caters to intermediate through advanced female skiers.
Key Design Features
1. Women's Specific Ergonomics
Adapted Lower Cuff: Designed shorter and wider at the top to comfortably fit women's lower calf muscles and prevent pinching.
Narrower Heel Pocket: Features a precise heel cup that holds narrower female heels securely in place to reduce slippage and blisters.
Faux-Fur & Insulated Lining: Equipped with plush fleece/faux-fur accents in the liner alongside a neoprene toe box for added thermal insulation on cold days.
2. Shell Technology & Fit
Advanced Shell / Custom Shell Tech: Select models (like the Idol 85 CS) feature Salomon’s heat-moldable Kaprolene shell plastic. This allows a bootfitter to expand the forefoot last width (typically 100 mm extending up to 106 mm) for custom relief around pressure points.
Bi-Material PU Shell: Uses dual-density polyurethane in the cuff and lower shell for a smooth, progressive forward flex and energy transmission to the ski edges.
Easier Entry: Built with a softer plastic overlap section across the instep (Over-sized Sensifit / flat seal) for smoother entry and exit.
3. Adjustability & Hardware
4 Micro-Adjustable Buckles: Aluminum or titanium buckles allow precise tension control across the foot and ankle.
3D Catch Adjustment: The lower instep buckle can be repositioned forward or backward to accommodate different instep heights.
Canting & Power Strap: Offers single or double canting adjustments to align the cuff angle with the skier’s natural leg stance, paired with a 35mm power strap for leg support.
