Ski Specifications:

The Elan Element 76 (160 cm) is an easy-handling, forgiving front-side all-mountain ski designed primarily for beginner to intermediate skiers looking to build confidence and refine their turn mechanics on groomed trails.

Key Features & Technology

• Groove Technology: Rib-shaped energizers built into the top profile of the ski help harmonize balance and control. This ensures a uniform flex profile so the ski flexes smoothly through turns without requiring intense physical effort.

• Parabolic Rocker Profile: Combines sidecut design with early-rise tip rocker, making turn initiation smooth and catch-free at low to moderate speeds.

• Dual Wood Core: Features two symmetrical wood stringers running along the outer edges of a lightweight composite core. This structure enhances edge hold and power transmission to the snow while keeping the overall ski light and easy to maneuver.

• Power Shell (Cap Construction): A durable cap layout that distributes force edge-to-edge across the ski while offering high resistance against topsheet scratches and chips.

• Fiberglass Laminate: Positioned above or below the core to optimize torsional rigidity and longitudinal flex without adding unnecessary weight.

On-Snow Performance & Skier Fit

• Turn Character: With a short 13.5 m radius, the 160 cm model excels at quick, short-to-medium radius turns on hardpack and groomed snow.

• Target Skier: Ideal for progressing skiers who want a stable, predictable platform that supports relaxed carving and skidded turns without punishing small balance mistakes.

• Sizing Guidance: The 160 cm length generally suits skiers standing roughly 5'5" to 5'9" (165–175 cm) tall, or lighter/more cautious intermediate skiers looking for easier control.
