by Traventuria Customer Services on October 14, 2020
In this article we will make a short overview of the new skis Head World Cup Rebels I.SL.RD.
What would we say? The perfect on-piste race skis. Head confirms its i.SL and this new version offered for narrow turns perfectly matches the profile of a high-level ski, that gives the feeling for a really good ice grip and stability on the slopes. Fast, tight and confident in your turns, the new Head World Cup Rebels i.SL RD is the ultimate competition slalom ski for speed fans. A super responsive positive camber provides aggressive reactivity and lightning acceleration.
Once again Head has presented their skis, with multiple technologies implemented in them. Equipped with Graphene World Cup Sandwich Cap construction and a wood and graphene core, the ski has a large reservoir of power for serious carving. It feels great and stable, when carving and making tight turns.
As well very lightweight, because of graphene core, the ski deforms and anchors very easily.
HEAD KERS technology is inspired by Formula 1 and its focus is entirely on speed. It comes from “A kinetic energy recovery system” and it is implemented in the skis under the form of a “chip” (not like a computer chip) that stores kinetic energy caused by flexing the ski and releases this energy at the end of the turn by stiffening the tails.
And in addition with the Tyrolia SP 130 binding, which has an ABS, it is not a car, but a safe and nice binding produced by Tyrolia.
As a conclusion, the overall score that testers give to those skis is 4.9. Not bad, right?
